ELCT- North Central Diocese, thank God that in his infinite wisdom, and through His Son Jesus Christ, has united all his believers in the world as one. In this way, we can cooperate together and be compliant with many things.
Our Diocese is involved in various ministries including Mission and Evangelism and Planning, Finance and Administration. These services are being conducted within the diocese through the Congregations,Parishes,Church Districts and Diocese as whole.

Head of the ELCT-North Central Diocese
ELCT NORTH CENTRAL DIOCESE was established in 1973. Formally it was known as Synod in Arusha Region led by Pastor Mesiaki Kilevo as the first leader of the Synod. It had only 30,000 members, 20 Parishes and 110 Congregations.
The second leader was Bishop Dr. Thomas Olmorijoi Laiser from 1980 up to 1986. In 1986 the Synod in Arusha Region (SAR) became a full fledged Diocese .
Due to the split of Arusha region in 2010 and form another region known as Manyara, Diocese in Arusha Region (DAR) changed its name to ELCT-North Central Diocese under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Thomas Olmorijoi Laiser until his death in 2013. Reverend Solomon Jacob Massangwa succeeded him and became the second Bishop of ELCT-North Central Diocese in 2014 a post he holds up date.
PROJECTS AND ASSETS DEPARTMENT
The Department of Projects and Assets is responsible for the management of Community and Economic Services projects. Social projects are involved in the betterment of community life.
ELCT North Central Diocese has educational institutions that are divided into three main groups
